As a strategy RPG the game will feature turn based combat. Players will have multiple units to control and their characters and enemy A.I. characters will both take turns taking actions. Outside of battle the story is told through 2-D cutscenes
Background:
Tears to Tiara is an adult SRPG released onto PC along with a remake on the PS3 called Tears to Tiara: Kakan no Daichi which has all the character redrawn.
The game takes place 1200 years after the broze period and the superpoer known as the Holy Emprie want to expand their rule.
